Success Story : Billy, Chewy, Siggy

Many thanks for the hard work done by our ISSDC Rescue/Rehome Committee. The following three dogs were placed in the last couple weeks.
Update on Billy: October 18, 2012
One of our ISSDC members saw what appeared to be a black plush Shiloh in a shelter ad. Through the quick efforts of some of our membership, BILLY has found a new home and he will be going home to his new owners next weekend!  They can't wait to meet him and welcome him into their family.

Update on Chewy: October 18, 2012
Chewy was found as a stray in Georgia, and was fostered and cared for by a young couple. When he was ready for his forever home, they called ISSDC Rescue/Rehome and asked us to help. We were able to find this sweet, friendly boy a new home with a loving family in Michigan. Funds from generous donations to our Rescue Program enabled us to transport both Siggy and Chewy to a place where their new owners could come and get them. Chewy is doing wonderfully and is adjusting quickly to his new family.

Update on Siggy: October 18, 2012
Our handsome, happy rescue SIGGY has found his forever home in Florida with a wonderful couple who just adore him!
Here are a few photos they recently sent us showing Siggy with them and their Shiloh "Cosy". Such a happy family! The husband tells us that Siggy follows his wife around wherever she goes, and has bonded closely with her already.
